Steven Calcagni (Founder and President):
Steven is the President and Founding Member of SJC Land Consulting and Development. He is responsible for oversight of all acquisitions and has 35 years in the brokerage business, specializing in builder sales, contract negotiations, and new business development.
Prior to establishing SJC Land, Steven was owner/broker of Calcagni Real Estate, a family owned real estate company, taking charge of the day-to-day management in 1988. He led the expansion of the company from 13 agents and 1 office to over 100 agents and 4 offices during his time at the helm. Seeking a new challenge, he stepped down at the end of 2019 to focus solely on land consulting and development. His knowledge and experience with land permitting and development brings a unique specialization in the real estate market.

Steven is viewed as an industry leader and has been asked to serve on several regional and state level real estate committees.
Steven is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall '81 and earned a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University '85.
John Calcagni (Principal):
John has been around the real estate industry for his whole life. After previous involvement in the family real estate business, John teamed up with Steven full-time in early 2020 to launch SJC Land.

As a principal of the firm, John brings energy and vision to the team by immersing in the local communities and creating an in depth understanding of the markets that we invest in. John is involved in all aspects of research, contract negotiations, permitting and development.

Before starting at SJC Land, John held positions in construction and business development. John is a graduate of Canterbury School '16 and earned a B.S. in Finance from University of Miami '20.
